In addition, The Real Estate Protections program offered by independant Real Estate Brokers, members of RCIIQ, is one of the most generous insurance programs available on the market.

These protections are offered to you at no additional cost by your Real Estate Broker and allow you to enjoy an invaluable peace of mind during the most important transaction of your life.

Real Estate protections Insurance in 3 parts

DELAY AND WITHDRAWAL

In order to compensate for the many unforeseen events that may occur before the conclusion of a transaction, the Real Estate Protections program can offer you a compensation of up to $ 25,000 to cover the costs incurred during a delay or withdrawal of either party before signing the notarial deed.

LEGAL EXPENSE(S)

As buying or selling a property may reveal many surprises, Real Estate Protections program offered by independent brokers, members of RCIIQ, provides access to legal insurance covering legal fees of up to $ 3,000 for a period of one year. To obtain the terms and conditions of eligibility, consult the insurance policy of the Real Estate Protections program.

LEGAL ASSISTANCE

A helpline specialized in Real Estate guarantees a service available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 8pm, to answer all your questions related to your transaction. Available during the year following your purchase, the legal assistance continues to support you even after the notarial deed.

Are you eligible for the Real Estate Protections Insurance?

Single-family homes;
Townhouses;
Prefabricated houses installed on permanent foundations;
Mainly residential buildings with less than 5 units;
Condominium / loft.

Note that eligible members of this insurance are only homeowners, whether sellers or buyers. Main or secondary residences are accepted if they are habitable year-round.
